Manager IT Portfolio

Overview The IT Portfolio Manager will own the IT portfolio of investments and the portfolio management capability. This role will provide governance and oversight of IT projects to ensure goals are accomplished on time, and within scope and budget in alignment with the IT roadmap strategy. Provides strategic direction for the process, methodology, tool, demand intake and reporting/scorecarding within the portfolio. Utilizes servant leadership to an agile team by educating and coaching team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiencies, delivering incremental customer value, and embracing continuous improvement. This position will be part of the Information Technology team. Responsibilities Responsible for the planning and on boarding of project process and small programsMaintains and communicates overall portfolio of IT projects including financial management and resources to trackinitiativesResponsible for maximizing resource allocation based on resource availability and prioritized projectsChampions strong IT governance in the project management framework and mentors project managers in itsdevelopment and continuous improvementImplement and core administrator of the Project Portfolio Management softwareCreate project process for consistency and alignment across business units.Facilitate and maintain collaborative relationships with IT leaders, business partners and key stakeholders ensuringengagement early in the project life cycle. Key voice to the business on the application, roadmap initiatives, changemanagement, annual initiative & project pipeline planning decisions, and escalation point for the businessdevelopment/project related issuesLead, coach and develop team of highly skilled and diverse IT Project ManagersDemonstrate an ongoing commitment to professional growth in agile project/program management and other keyAreasRegular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
