Human Resource Manager

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role supports business goals by developing and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and overseeing recruitment, performance management, training, compensation, and benefits.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs.Manage the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding process.Oversee employee relations and resolve workplace issues professionally and confidentially.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Administer employee benefits, compensation, and leave programs.Coordinate performance management processes, including evaluations and employee development plans.Identify training needs and organize professional development programs.Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.Advise managers on employee performance, disciplinary actions, and workforce planning.Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.Monitor employee engagement and recommend initiatives to improve retention and morale.Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce metrics to support organizational decision-making.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of progressive human resources experience, including supervisory experience.Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is preferred.Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and labor regulations.Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Preferred SkillsStrategic planning and organizational developmentTalent acquisition and workforce planningPerformance managementEmployee engagement and retentionTraining and developmentCompensation and benefits administrationHR analytics and reportingChange managementWork EnvironmentThis position typically works in an office environment and may require occasional travel to company locations or attendance at recruitment events.
