Java Technical Lead

Job DutiesServe as the technical lead for medium to large-sized global development teamsDesign, develop and unit test applications using Java/J2EE technologies with Service-oriented architectureDesign component design and associated pseudo code with unit test casesSupport QA teams with test plans, root cause analysis and defect fixingCreate technical design documentation and root cause analysis documentationDevelop code adhering to coding standards and test driven development approachRepresent Development Team in Scrum/Agile sprints, attending stand-ups and estimating complexity for stories and tasks assignedCommunicate the status of the work, progress and obstacles to the team.Required Qualifications7+ years of IT expereince5+ years of experience analyzing, designing and implementing solutions using J2EE technologies, including JSF, JAXB, JPA, JMS, MQ Series5+ years of object-oriented programming experience and MVC development paradigms5+ years of experience developing services with XML, SOAP, REST, and using IBM WebSphere Application Server and Eclipse3+ years of experience with Spring, Struts, EJB, NetBeans, Hibernate, and designing JSP/Web Services (REST), Message queues2+ years of experience of leading teams of 10+ developers with Agile/SCRUM2+ year experience in working with rule engine (preferred drools)Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience JEE containers such as Apache Tomcat and JBoss2+ years of experience developing applications integrated with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle3+ years of experience writing JUnit testsAdditional SkillsStrong knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging applications.Strong knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support.Applies a broad knowledge of application programming and
