Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Continental Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Credentials: - Chemo certification preferred.

Unit Details: - Med/surg unit with a focus on oncology care; also cares for general surgery and remote telemetry patients. - Standard med/surg care and chemo administration. - Primary nursing care model. - Chemotherapy can only be administered by chemo-certified nurses. - Uses CPN and an iPhone nursing system for communication with care team members.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
