Shift: Day, 5x8-hour (08:30 - 17:00), can be 08:00 - 16:30 at times though. Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per month, specific schedule discussed in interview. Floating: May float to other general medicine floors within hospital. Patient pop: Primarily geriatrics. Patient diagnoses: Geriatric population specifically on general medicine floors within acute environment. High acuity patients within regional referral center.

Travel Compliance: Facility does not accept local travelers. Must be over 65 miles (address on drivers license to site address). Must have 2 years experience in specialty for all locations. (New Orleans operating room req. 3 years) **NO CALL IN!** RTO must be on profile and brought up in the interview or there is a high chance offer's will be rescinded. Compact or LA license in hand upon submittal. Allied Candidates booked with pending license - Candidate must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing. Orientation held 5 days a week. References: Not required for submission, however 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start contract. Please ensure that the NURSYS is up to date (within 4 weeks of submission date). Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before they can return as travel. Modules: Modules are billable.
