In-Office: This is a 100% in-office role based at our Schaumburg, IL / Rochester, NY / Meridian, ID location. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position. Candidates must be able to work on-site five days per week during designated work hours.

Position Overview:

This role serves as a strategic partner to clients implementing Paylocity's Benefits solutions. This role partners clients to understand their benefit plans, eligibility requirements, enrollment processes, and business objectives to deliver successful implementations. The IC is responsible for gathering requirements, validating data, configuring system solutions, and guiding clients through a seamless implementation experience. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective client communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned benefits clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer support.
• Provide guidance and support on benefits administration processes, including enrollment, eligibility, life events, carrier connections, and ongoing system functionality.
• Configure and validate benefits administration solutions to align with client plan designs, compliance requirements, and organizational needs.
• Support data collection, conversion, validation, and testing activities to ensure accurate system setup and implementation readiness.
• Consult with clients on best practices and recommend solutions that improve administrative efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
• Review and maintain client benefit configurations to ensure alignment with plan designs, carrier requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Benefits Operations, Implementation, Product, and Account Management, to resolve client concerns and support client success.
• Investigate and resolve benefits-related system issues, escalating complex concerns when appropriate and ensuring timely follow-up with clients.
• Support benefit plan renewals, open enrollment activities, and ongoing client education related to system enhancements and best practices.
• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining accountability for timelines, deliverables, communication, and client satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in client-facing, implementation, benefits administration, payroll, HR technology, project coordination, or related roles.
• A bachelor's degree required
• Client Centric Approach: Possess excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-focused mindset throughout the implementation process.
• Technical & Analytical Aptitude: Strong technical and analytical skills with experience using business applications and advanced spreadsheet functions to analyze data, identify issues, and support implementation activities. Ability to quickly learn new systems and leverage technology to drive accurate and efficient results.
• Problem Solving & Resourcefulness: Applies critical thinking and sound judgment to identify issues, evaluate options, and deliver solutions that meet client needs and implementation objectives.
• Organization & Project Coordination: Effectively manages multiple implementations simultaneously by prioritizing work, monitoring timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
• Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is $37,200 - $55,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits outlined here.
