Financial Analyst I – Temp to Hire (on-site 5 days) Ready to grow your accounting and finance career with a dynamic O&G organization? We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst I to join our team and play a key role in financial reporting, month‑end closing, account reconciliations, and audit support. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across corporate accounting and financial operations. What You’ll Do Prepare and analyze journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and cost allocations for month‑end closing. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances. Maintain fixed asset and prepaid schedules. Support capital expenditure reporting and PP&E roll‑forwards. Prepare intercompany invoices and ensure transactions are properly accounted for. Partner with operations and corporate teams to gather and analyze financial data. Assist with internal and external audits, including supporting schedules and account analysis. Provide insights and explanations for monthly expense fluctuations. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 1–2+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience. Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month‑end close. Oil & Gas industry experience is a plus. Knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting practices. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
