Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists manager in training staff on cleaning procedures, cleaning solutions and products, floor care, project work, and equipment preparation and developing staff for advancement.May train and/or direct the work of Environmental Service Techs.

• Performs general cleaning, uses appropriate cleaning aids and pays close attention to detail cleaning. May operate light, medium and heavy equipment and organize supply maintenance.

• Secures and controls keys; dispenses and collects keys assigned to staff and reports lost keys or breakages. Locks and unlocks doors. Reports building maintenance issues to manager.

• Follows-up on customer complaints and attempts to resolve issues.

• Performs supervisory duties in the absence of the manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience, or equivalent Environmental Services experience at Emory Healthcare.
