Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Technical Designer to join our Technical Design team. This role is responsible for ensuring that design vision is translated into well-constructed, manufacturable garments that reflect brand aesthetics and design integrity. The successful candidate will lead fit sessions, manage technical development from showroom samples through production approval, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product quality, fit, and execution across Women's Suits and Ready-to-Wear categories. Key Responsibilities Manage product lifecycle from showroom sample through pre-production fit approval. Oversee pre-production sample development, ensuring alignment with design intent and quality standards. Develop comprehensive technical packages, including final graded specifications and construction details. Lead live fit sessions to evaluate and refine garment fit, construction, and quality. Execute fit comments and communicate updates to vendors and global teams in a timely manner. Provide grading guidelines and ensure accurate size grading that preserves fit and design integrity. Partner with Product Development, Design, and Production teams to maintain development timelines and production milestones. Create and manage WIP reports to track development progress and garment delivery status. Who You Are A technical expert with strong knowledge of garment fit, construction, specifications, and patterns. A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, fashion-driven environment. A confident communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications College degree or equivalent professional experience required. 7+ years of Technical Design experience, including experience with woven dresses, blouses, suits, and ready-to-wear products. Proven expertise in apparel fitting, garment specifications, and pattern evaluation. Working knowledge of PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel. Strong project management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines and priorities. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and global offices.
