About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance, Services to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a strategic thought leader, providing guidance on long-term financial matters and day-to-day commercial decisions. This role involves close partnership with the business to develop and facilitate key performance metrics, financial budgets, forecasts, and operational analysis. The VP of Finance, Services will also be responsible for collaborating on strategic growth initiatives, financial close, and presenting financial analysis to department heads. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 15 years of work experience, with a focus on FP&A or finance business partnership, and a proven track record of leadership and communication skills. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Finance, Services at the company include serving as a thought leader in all financial and operational decisions, working with executive leaders to create detailed budgets, and ensuring the accuracy of financials for the business unit. The role requires a results-oriented individual with a high bias for action, strong ownership of accountability, and the ability to manage a high-performing team. Advanced knowledge of analytics tools is essential, and experience in the technology or professional service sector is preferred. The candidate should be adept at establishing key business metrics, proactively highlighting areas of risk and opportunity, and have the ability to manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency. Professional certifications such as an MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA are a plus, as is experience with planning and accounting systems, and visualization tools.
