The work environment at Paragon Behavioral Health Center promotes collaboration and flexibility. As a remote mental health therapist, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule while adhering to a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While you will have some flexibility, occasional adjustments may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. We leverage modern telehealth technologies to create an engaging and interactive experience for both patients and therapists.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to identify each patient's unique needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate support and psychoeducational groups, fostering a sense of community while addressing common mental health concerns.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure patients receive holistic and coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective support for affected patients.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available for their support.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards to authorize ongoing care and support.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and team collaborations, participating in case consultations and training workshops, to enhance your practice and keep abreast of new research in mental health therapy.

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population from Newark, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. We cater to individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance abuse. As a therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering culturally competent care sensitive to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A thorough understanding of a variety of mental health disorders along with proficiency in evidence-based therapies and treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive assessments and craft effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Experience offering individual and group therapy to clients of diverse backgrounds.

• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport with clients, ensuring a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications to ensure accurate documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
