Fleet Manager

Job Description:GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONSupervise and coordinate a fleet of over the road drivers by providing training and education and ensuring the drivers are focused on reaching corporate goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESControl cost by following established guidelines and promptness of: swaps, T-Calls, and repowers. Generate accurate weekend pay reports.Assist and participate in the creation of department actions plans that support the company’s strategic business plan.Establish, modify, document and coordinate job documentation or areas managed. Manage, assign, delegate and direct duties of drivers. Appraise performances, coach, counsel, reward and discipline drivers. Maintain harmony among workers and resolve conflicts. Terminate drivers, if necessary.
