About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for leading the enterprise-wide financial strategy, planning, and operations. This executive role demands a leader with a strong financial acumen, capable of executive partnership, forecasting, operational discipline, and team building. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the organization, particularly in the areas of strategy, planning, and leadership, and will be instrumental in driving change and elevating the finance function. Key responsibilities for the CFO include owning the financial strategy, forecasting, multi-year planning, and capital/budget oversight. The role also involves strengthening reporting, controls, compliance, and financial transparency, as well as overseeing cash flow, treasury functions, and the overall financial health of the organization. The CFO will be expected to partner with executive and board stakeholders, lead audits, and ensure regulatory compliance. A background in complex revenue models, grant/contract funding, or multi-source environments is preferred, and experience in improving financial systems, processes, and infrastructure is essential. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a CFO or equivalent senior financial leadership role, with strong people leadership and communication skills. A CPA is preferred but not required, and the candidate should be comfortable operating in a remote-first setting with limited on-site requirements.
