Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Deliver direct patient care in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry setting during night shift hours
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient status using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR platform
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
