Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists as necessary; prepare patient for exam; explain procedures and provide education. Adhere to MRI safety standards; administer contrast media per department protocols and patient age-related requirements. Assist radiologist with MR procedures as requested; optimize MRI sequences and assess image quality. Operate and maintain MRI equipment and related supplies; perform warm-up, calibration, and safety checks; document equipment issues. Manage patient data and workflow in the hospital computer system, and communicate findings to the supervising team as appropriate.
