Licensed Aesthetician Role

As an essential member of our aesthetics team, the Licensed Aesthetician is responsible for providing advanced skincare treatments, personalized consultations, and expert product recommendations that help clients achieve their skincare and wellness goals. This role requires technical expertise, exceptional client care skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding results while creating a welcoming and professional experience.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Consultation & Treatment Planning

• Conduct comprehensive skin consultations to assess client concerns, goals, and treatment suitability.
• Develop customized skincare treatment plans based on individual skin conditions and desired outcomes.
• Educate clients regarding treatment options, expected results, and recommended skincare regimens.
• Provide ongoing guidance to support long‑term skin health and maintenance.

Skincare Treatments & Client Care

• Perform professional skincare treatments, including facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and other aesthetic services.
• Deliver treatments safely and effectively while maintaining the highest standards of client comfort and care.
• Create a welcoming, relaxing, and professional environment that promotes trust and client satisfaction.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment recommendations as needed to achieve optimal results.

Product Education & Retail Support

• Educate clients on medical‑grade skincare products and personalized home‑care routines.
• Recommend appropriate products that complement professional treatments and support skincare goals.
• Support retail skincare sales through knowledgeable product recommendations and client education.
• Stay informed on emerging skincare technologies, product innovations, and industry trends.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate client records, treatment documentation, and progress notes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, infection‑control, and professional standards.
• Maintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional practices at all times.
• Document treatment outcomes and recommendations for future services.

Treatment Room & Operational Support

• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, stocked, and prepared for daily operations.
• Maintain treatment equipment and supplies in accordance with company standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs as necessary.
• Support overall spa operations and client experience initiatives.

Professional Development & Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with providers and team members to deliver an exceptional and seamless client experience.
• Help with front‑desk duties as needed along with laundry.
• Participate in continuing education, training programs, and professional development opportunities.
• Stay current on industry best practices, advanced treatment techniques, and skincare innovations.
• Support additional aesthetic and wellness initiatives as business needs evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS

• Active state Esthetician license/Certificate in good standing.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a spa, med spa, dermatology practice, plastic surgery office, or aesthetic setting preferred.
• Knowledge of advanced skincare treatments and medical‑grade skincare products.
• Strong understanding of skin health, treatment protocols, and aesthetic best practices.
• Excellent communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to client safety and satisfaction.
• Ability to build lasting client relationships through trust, education, and exceptional service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in a medical spa, cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, or luxury wellness environment.
• Advanced training or certifications in chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, or other specialized skincare treatments.
• Experience with medical‑grade skincare product lines and retail sales.
• Knowledge of complementary aesthetic and wellness services.
• Passion for helping clients achieve healthier skin, increased confidence, and long‑term skincare success.
