Concessions SupervisorThe concessions supervisor is responsible for the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the food service operation, which includes inventory, customer service, food preparation, and food safety/sanitation procedures. Alongside a manager who will help coordinate and lead operations, you'll help oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and help where needed.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for opening and closing the building according to expectations of the management teamMonitors setting up and breaking down of workstationsMonitors the sanitation of workstations, including floors, worktables, walls, refrigerators, equipment, dishes, and utensilsOversees the cashiers on duty and ensures that they are properly trained and adhere to the cashier policyOversees the cooking and preparation of food items for the day according to the recipes and brand requirementsResponsible for ensuring correct portion size of food items. High level product knowledge and ability to coach staff to effectively service the customerEnsures staff completes daily temp logsOversees the product merchandising, line displaying, and distribution of marketing materialsProvides ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff membersInforms management of escalating employee conduct issuesResponsible for making sure the staff properly disposes of wasteOversees staff during peak times of operation and deals with labor shortages as neededAssists managers with ordering and inventory responsibilitiesEnsures each station has the equipment and supplies needed to serve the customersMaintains professional appearance and models compliance to uniform policies and ensures uniform compliance of staffOccasionally works in other areas or departments as required by your managerPerforms tasks as requested by your manager(s) on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basisManages employee issues, and makes sure locations are staffed appropriatelyEnsures security of company assetsAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.Qualifications:Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferredPrevious food experience preferredMust be able to obtain food safety and alcohol certificationExhibit and practice the highest level of guest satisfaction and service skillsBasic accounting knowledge and experience managing inventoryDemonstrated organizational skills to improve efficiencyAbility to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt and problem solve to necessary and unforeseen changesDemonstrate a high level of communication skills to ensure staff is aware of all informationAbility to operate equipment in the stand and support to get product ready for saleDemonstrate consistent professionalism in the execution of daily assignmentsIdeal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekendsMust be able to stand/walk for an extended period, as well as occasionally lift up to 50lbsMust read, write, and understand verbal instructionsMaintain emotional control under stress
