Wastewater Collection Operator I

The Wastewater Collection Division is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Wastewater Collection Operator I who is committed to providing exceptional public service and protecting our community's critical infrastructure.

Work may require participation in a rotating schedule that includes shift work, weekends, holidays, on-call duty, and emergency response.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school graduation or equivalency.
• No prior experience is required for this position.
• A main requirement of the job is physical labor.
• Valid Arizona Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with Tanker and HazMat endorsements within 6 months of hire.
• Grade I Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Certification in Wastewater Collection within one year of hire.
