Overview
Interventional Radiology Tech (Radiology Tech) – Travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, United States. Start date 08/23/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,835–$3,055 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week. Shift: 4x10-hour days. Setting: hospital-based interventional radiology unit.

Responsibilities
- Support interventional radiology procedures, assisting with catheter placements, wires, and access techniques under supervision.
- Maintain sterile technique, scrub for procedures, and prepare/organize equipment and supplies for IR cases.
- Monitor patient status during procedures, manage basic physiologic monitoring, and respond to intra-procedural changes as directed.
- Assist with room setup, patient positioning, and post-procedure care; coordinate with nursing and radiology teams to maintain workflow.
- Document procedures and care activities; ensure accurate coding and labeling of specimens when applicable.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment within scope, and participate in room turnover and equipment cleaning between cases.
- May float to other IR units within the department as needed to support patient care.

Requirements
- ARRT Radiography license (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (may start pending; licensure can be pursued after offer)
- AHA BLS certification
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience with scrub experience required; 3 years preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume IR setting and to float to other IR units as needed
