Role Description The Roofing Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Honolulu, HI. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with potential clients at their properties, assessing roofing and exterior remodeling needs, and preparing accurate estimates and proposals. The role involves explaining roofing options, materials, and warranties, answering customer questions, and guiding clients through the decision-making process. Roofing Sales team members will follow up on leads, conduct site visits, collaborate with project managers and installers, and maintain organized records of bids, contracts, and communications. This position also includes networking in the local community, attending company meetings, and using basic technology tools to track sales activities and progress.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service skills, including lead follow-up, relationship building, and clear, professional communication with property owners.
• Construction or roofing-related knowledge, such as understanding roofing materials, installation basics, and the ability to evaluate roof conditions (training can be provided).
• Organizational and administrative skills, including managing appointments, documenting site visits, preparing proposals, and maintaining accurate records.
• Basic technical skills, including using smartphones, tablets, or laptops for CRM entries, email, and digital document preparation.
• Ability to work on-site, conduct roof and exterior inspections safely, and collaborate effectively with operations and installation teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical, transparent sales practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel to client locations.
• Prior experience in roofing, construction, or field sales is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn and participate in training is essential.
