Role Description This full-time Family Nurse Practitioner role is a hybrid position based in Camarillo, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility as appropriate for telehealth and administrative responsibilities. The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients across the lifespan. Daily responsibilities include conducting in-person and virtual visits, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and managing chronic and acute conditions. The role also involves patient education, preventive care, care coordination with other healthcare professionals, and documentation in the electronic health record. The practitioner will participate in quality improvement initiatives, collaborate with the care team, and support clinic protocols to ensure safe, efficient, and culturally sensitive care. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Nurse Practitioner practice, including independent clinical decision-making and patient management. Strong Nursing foundation with experience in family-focused care and patient education. Proficiency in Primary Care, including preventive services, chronic disease management, and health promotion. Solid knowledge of Medicine relevant to family practice, including evidence-based guidelines and diagnostic reasoning. Experience or training in Urgent Care settings, with the ability to manage acute conditions and triage appropriately. Current national Nurse Practitioner certification and active California NP license. Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner or related specialty preferred). Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS and/or PALS certification is a plus. Comfort with electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and basic digital documentation tools. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to equitable, culturally competent care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
