Job Requirements

The following criteria is required for all applicants:

• Must be 18 Years of Age or Older

• Current Georgia CNA Certification or HHA preferred.  We will train you to be a Personal Care Assistant if you don't have experience.

• Current TB Test

• Current CPR

• Current First Aid

• Current Driver's License

• Reliable Car/Car Insurance and Clean Driving History

• Must pass Criminal/Drug Test

• 3 Verifiable Professional References

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with clients and supervisors.

• Alzheimer's, Dementia or Parkinson's experience is a plus

• Must be able to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations

• Must be reliable and dependable

• Hoyer lift experience preferred, but we will train you.

Job Description:

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) will provide the highest quality of care to Right at Home clients utilizing the Plan of Care provided to ensure client’s needs are met in relation to safety, well-being and satisfaction. Duties include assistance with bathing/dressing/grooming, assistance with transfers, meal prep, medication support, transportation to errands/appointments, and light housekeeping.
