This position is responsible for all aspects of the physical production and installation of signs. Sign assembly includes preparing substrates and using the proper machines and techniques to construct products according to written instructions. Sign installation includes a variety of panel substrates, post & panels and application of pressure sensitive vinyls according to written instructions. This position must conduct quality assurance to ensure accurate fulfillment of projects. There is a significant degree of customer interaction in this position. Professional demeanor and appearance are required, along with a customer service focus.Responsibilities include following a layout to place computer cut vinyl or full color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium, preparing substrates for vinyl application, using skillset to produce signs of various sizes, designs and materials, performing quality assurance measures pre- and post-production, performing finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces, performing installations at customer locations or other off-site locations as necessary, communicating with other employees and customers in a calm and professional manner, helping unload and store raw materials; cleaning and maintaining storage areas, working on multiple projects simultaneously, performing routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary, adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes, participating in and practicing the brand mentality of "Everybody Sells", following instructions to accurately install a variety of signage, post and panels (dig holes) and full color graphic images in various circumstances, maintaining an accurate, digital schedule reflecting all installation commitments, setting and achieving project deadlines, consulting with sales staff to provide accurate estimates of labor time and to set realistic deadlines, maintaining strong lines of communication with sales staff and promptly answering messages/questions, accurately relaying project details to sales staff and customers, adhering to industry standard safety practices, operating all tools and equipment according to specified safety requirements, performing advance site visits, obtaining and relaying necessary information for accurate quoting and production of product, reporting inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchise partner, and presenting and maintaining a good driving record.Typical physical demands include the ability to stand/kneel for long periods of time, ability to lift 75 or more pounds, flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a surface, general familiarity with safe operation of power equipment and general construction tools/methods, ability to fulfill projects in wide temperature variances and exterior weather conditions, safely climb ladders/scaffolding and operate hydraulic lift equipment as needed.Prerequisites include having a good driving record as condition of employment and a good attitude.Compensation: $20.00 per hour
