Veterinary Technician – Emergency, Day shift  Culver City, CA Total Bonus Opportunity for Registered Veterinary Technicians: $10,000! This position is eligible for:

• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
• $2,500 retention bonus at 12 months
• $2,500 retention bonus at 24 months  Subject to eligibility and bonus agreement terms.

Sign-On & Retention Bonus for Veterinary Assistants – Up to $5,000 Total! Join our team and receive:

• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus
• $2,500 Retention Bonus after 1 Year

That’s up to $5,000 in total bonus opportunity for team members who grow with us. Bonus eligibility and payout terms apply.

Overnight / Weekend Differential = $3 - $5 per hour in addition to base pay

Located in Culver City, ACCESS LA is a referral hospital with 24hour Emergency services, where our technicians encounter a variety of cases while working closely with some of the most qualified doctors in the country.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients. In the emergency department there is something new every day!

Role Responsibilities: 

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. 
• With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow. 
• Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians. 
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments. 
• Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems. 
• Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts. 
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. 
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. 

Experience & Skills Requirements:


* RVT preferred
* 3 years veterinary assisting / technician experience
* Desire to offer superior patient care
* Positive work attitude
* Flexible schedule

Compensation : Non Credentialed Assistants $21/hr - $36/hr Licensed Technicians -$26/hr - $42/hr VTS - $43/hr - $45/hr Pay to be determined by experience/skills
