General Diagnostic + Mammo Radiologist

Jackson and Coker is seeking a General Diagnostic and Mammography Radiologist for a locum tenens position in North Carolina, starting June 1st and extending through December 2027. This role offers the opportunity to practice a broad range of diagnostic radiology, with flexibility for those who may not read all case types. The position emphasizes a strong preference for PET-CT readings and provides various coverage options including light IR and breast procedures.

Practice Info

• Case Mix: General Radiology including XR, CT, MRI, US, Fluoro, ER (20), NM (5), MSK (20), peds (2), Neuro (20), cardiothoracic (15), mammo screens (5)
• Flexibility if you cannot read all case types
• PET-CT's are strongly preferred
• 60-70 wRVU average
• Coverage Options: General Radiology + light IR + mammo procedures/biopsies; General Radiology + mammo procedures/biopsies; General Radiology + light IR
• Light IR procedures may include: Biopsies (Thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal, CT guided, US guided), Drainages (Paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, cysts), Lumbar Punctures (DX lumbar puncture and myelograms), Arthrograms (Joint injections for knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle)

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology readings including XR, CT, MRI, US, Fluoro, ER, NM, MSK, peds, Neuro, and cardiothoracic cases
• Perform mammo screens
• Read PET-CTs (strongly preferred)
• Perform light IR procedures such as biopsies (thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal, CT guided, US guided), drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, cysts), lumbar punctures (DX lumbar puncture and myelograms), and arthrograms (joint injections for knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle)
• Perform breast procedures including breast biopsies and mammo diagnostic procedures (mammo screens are not required for these procedures)

Compensation

• 60-70 wRVU average
