Roseland, NJ, US 5 days ago Requisition ID: 1126 Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually Purpose of Role We are seeking a full-time HR Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations across the firm. This role is fully in-person in our Roseland, NJ office and partners closely with leadership, attorneys, and staff across multiple offices. You’ll be joining a collaborative HR team at the center of the firm’s operations—supporting employees across the full lifecycle and helping keep things running smoothly. This is a hands‑on role for someone who likes to stay organized, keep things moving, and be relied on in a fast‑paced legal environment. Responsibilities Manage onboarding and offboarding, including offer letters, new hire paperwork, I-9 compliance, and system setup. Maintain employee records and ensure a high level of accuracy and organization. Process employee changes (hires, terminations, compensation updates, title changes, etc.). Serve as a point of contact for employee questions (benefits, PTO, policies). Coordinate benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying events, and COBRA. Support open enrollment preparation and follow-up. Coordinate interviews and candidate communication. Assist with background checks and logistics. Help keep recruiting and hiring processes organized. Support performance review cycles (scheduling, tracking, follow-ups). Assist with HR reporting, audits, and general administrative tasks. Ensure deadlines are met and details do not fall through the cracks. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. 2+ years of HR, administrative, or coordinator experience (law firm or professional services preferred). Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information. Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with high expectations and shifting priorities. Must be able to work in a fully in‑person role in Roseland, NJ. Compensation & Benefits This position offers a salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. Support staff may also be eligible for discretionary year‑end bonuses and a merit‑based increase. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and access to additional voluntary programs.
