Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist to become a part of an expanding network of imaging experts devoted to delivering outstanding patient care. Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, effectively communicating each step
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Keep accurate records and document procedures within the electronic medical record system
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field is required
• A graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
