Work Environment

Working onsite, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, which include the review of medical history and relevant assessments to identify the specific needs of each patient.
• Develop and explain tailored treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process to promote ownership and motivation towards recovery.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and adjust interventions based on clinical assessments and patient progress.
• Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care, promptly documenting any changes in the patient's condition that may require modifications to their treatment plan.
• Maintain precise documentation of all patient interactions, ensuring timely and accurate billing for services rendered, including discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity metrics while maintaining flexibility to accommodate urgent patient needs and scheduling changes.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to raise awareness of our services and enhance access to care.
• Actively engage in departmental meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of departmental goals and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster a culture of learning by pursuing continuing education opportunities for yourself and contributing to the training of student clinicians.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on delivering personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each patient while helping them improve their physical function and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license for physical therapy practice based on the regulations of Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.
• Dedication to professional development and ongoing education in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience as a Physical Therapist is not required, candidates with experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings or knowledge of various physical therapy modalities are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
