We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at the Skeletal Orthopedic Sports Rehab Clinic in Arlington, Virginia. The Skeletal Orthopedic Sports Rehab Clinic is a leading orthopedic outpatient practice situated within a modern 5000 square foot sports medicine facility. Our team, composed of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care primarily to patients with private medical insurance. We aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment that fosters patient recovery through individualized treatment plans.

Work Environment

This role requires working onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where you will engage with patients in a bustling but supportive atmosphere. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent schedule while providing ample opportunity for professional collaboration and patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to recognize and fulfill the rehabilitation goals and needs of patients, ensuring personalized care.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, allowing for focused attention and tailored treatment approaches.
• Design and implement individualized care plans utilizing a variety of treatment modalities that promote healing and recovery.
• Employ effective techniques to provide cost-efficient treatments aimed at reducing pain and enhancing motion and mobility.
• Minimize reliance on medications by exploring non-surgical solutions to facilitate recovery.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that address each patient's unique requirements, increasing their overall quality of life.
• Continuously motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize their functional capabilities.
• Document patient progress and treatment effects using EMR Software, including WebPT, ensuring thorough and accurate records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to patient care and ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Engage in open communication with patients regarding their progress and treatment objectives, providing reassurance and guidance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic mainly serves a diverse patient population with various orthopedic issues, ranging from post-surgery recovery to sports-related injuries. Patients come to us with active lifestyle backgrounds, including athletes and individuals seeking to regain normal motion following injuries or surgery. Our team is dedicated to tailoring treatment interventions based on the specific needs and goals of each patient, thereby enhancing their engagement in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no disciplinary actions or board actions recorded.
• Demonstrated excellence in manual therapy techniques and the ability to assess and implement therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is essential for efficient documentation and workflow.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of developing effective, individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Experience in engaging with a diverse patient demographic.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
