Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team at our outpatient facility located in West Mclean, Virginia. Work Environment

Located in West Mclean, Virginia, our outpatient office functions as both a treatment and educational space, where each therapist can apply innovative techniques to enhance patient care. As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with two other physical therapists, benefiting from shared knowledge and mentorship. Our flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allows for a balanced professional and personal life, facilitating a greater ability to serve our patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to establish patient goals and treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Administer personalized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at improving motion and mobility.
• Engage with patients for 40-minute sessions to deliver focused and effective care, ensuring ample time for assessment and treatment.
• Develop and implement care strategies that promote recovery, including movement correction and strengthening exercises.
• Create customized wellness and fitness programs to encourage patients' active participation in their treatment process.
• Utilize the Athena Health EMR system for accurate documentation and effective communication with patients regarding their progress and next steps.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MS or DPT) is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage challenging patient interactions effectively.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current treatment practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to develop patient-specific care plans based on comprehensive assessments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a broad range of orthopedic conditions.
• A tendency towards a proactive, patient-centered approach to therapy.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Athena Health.

Compensation and Benefits
