Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Up Stream Physiotherapy Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing assessments to create customized treatment plans.
• Explaining evaluation results and treatment strategies to both patients and their families, fostering a collaborative approach to goal setting and rehabilitation.
• Implementing treatment protocols that are tailored to each patient's progress and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients, recognizing when modifications in the treatment plan are necessary based on changes in medical condition.
• Documenting evaluations and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring clarity in each patient's course of action, including focused evaluations, daily notes, and discharge summaries.
• Managing time effectively to meet productivity expectations while maintaining an organized schedule.
• Engaging in marketing initiatives that promote our clinic and enhance community relationships.
• Taking initiative in personal professional development through continuing education and serving as a clinical instructor to students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits
