Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice located in the heart of Centreville, Virginia. This role is pivotal in fostering the recovery journey of our patients as they work to regain their mobility and enhance their overall functionality. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will implement evidence-based strategies to maximize quality of life and support individuals in achieving their physical wellness goals.

Our modern 5000 square feet sports medicine facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources, creating an optimal environment for therapy. We focus primarily on treating individuals with private medical insurance, establishing a strong rapport based on trust and quality care. With a collaborative team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), we take pride in fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages professional growth and development.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite within a dynamic rehabilitation center dedicated to outpatient orthopedic care. Your work schedule will span Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. In this collaborative setting, you will engage with a diverse patient population in a space designed to facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation therapies tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify each patient's specific goals and needs to create personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient load that provides the opportunity to dedicate meaningful time, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring quality attention to each individual.
• Utilize your clinical expertise to deliver cost-effective, non-surgical interventions aimed at enhancing mobility and reducing pain.
• Develop and modify care plans that incorporate a wide variety of treatment modalities, ensuring proactive adjustments based on patient progress.
• Implement customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to enhance patients' physical health and lifestyle.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment process, promoting adherence and motivation for optimal recovery.
• Guide patients in adopting healthier lifestyles, improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through targeted interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor progress, and adjust care strategies accordingly, maintaining open lines of communication.
• Accurately document all patient interactions and treatments in line with organizational policies and EMR software, specifically WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on delivering top-tier care to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, injuries, and surgeries. This often includes individuals who are seeking rehabilitation following athletic injuries, post-operative recovery, or chronic pain management. Our clinic emphasizes personalized programs that resonate with each patient's unique medical history and rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Possession of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No prior board actions or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills, demonstrating proficiency and confidence in hands-on techniques.
• Experience in formulating effective therapeutic exercise routines that meet patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, and ability to navigate it efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings or similar environments.
• Proven track record of successfully treating diverse patient populations.
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement plans and paid time off.
