Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our Woodbridge outpatient office, designed to foster patient engagement and facilitate healing. You'll join a small but effective team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a vibrant, patient-centric setting. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a balanced work-life schedule, promoting both professional and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' goals, needs, and progress while tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused and quality care.
• Provide evidence-based interventions aimed at improving range of motion, mobility, and overall patient functioning.
• Employ cost-effective, non-invasive therapies, minimizing reliance on medications and exploring alternative treatment options.
• Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, ensuring adaptability based on patient responses.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs reflective of each patient's unique circumstances and recovery goals.
• Encourage and motivate patients, offering support throughout their treatment to help them achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Monitor progress and evaluate outcomes, maintaining detailed documentation of services rendered in alignment with organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. Many of our patients arrive with goals centered on recovery from injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, or chronic pain management. We emphasize a hands-on approach that engages patients actively in their recovery and promotes lifelong wellness practices.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions associated with licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effective exercise programming.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy interventions and patient care standards.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
