Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, establishing their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies that address both acute and chronic orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques – including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities – to achieve optimal patient recovery.
• Proactively educate patients and their caregivers about treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications that support ongoing recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share best practices and enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation regarding patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Meet productivity and utilization benchmarks while delivering exceptional customer service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with patients suffering from musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation. Our patient demographics range from pediatric to adult populations seeking to regain mobility and quality of life. You will play a crucial role in their treatment journey, often engaging with athletes aiming for a prompt return to sports, as well as older adults recovering from orthopedic surgery.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer skills for documenting patient information and accessing electronic health records.
• A commitment to establishing robust relationships with your patients, facilitating their journey to exceeding functional goals through personalized care.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in orthopedic, sports medicine, pediatric, or neurologic physical therapy will be prioritized. The ability to implement evidence-based treatments and engage patients is crucial for success in this role.
