Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Skilled Nursing Facility, you will work onsite in a dynamic, supportive environment where collaboration is key. You will be part of a team that comprises highly skilled professionals, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and physicians, all working together to deliver holistic care for our residents. Your schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance while providing vital therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
• Design and implement individualized care plans that incorporate targeted therapies to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and build strength.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and tools, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education resources to facilitate recovery.
• Regularly collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and address complex health needs effectively.
• Monitor progress meticulously, updating treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical observations to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-management strategies, and wellness practices that promote long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily support residents recovering from surgery, stroke, or serious injuries, as well as those managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted Virginia Physical Therapy License.

Compensation and Benefits
