Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Korunda, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical limitations and developing comprehensive treatment plans that align with medical guidelines.
• Implement targeted therapy interventions, techniques, and programs to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall function, tailoring approaches based on individual needs and progress.
• Provide hands-on treatment, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions and empower them with strategies for managing symptoms and preventing further injury.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation specialists, to integrate care plans and maximize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress thoroughly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure ongoing improvement and adherence to health care protocols.
• Maintain a professional and engaging atmosphere, delivering outstanding customer service and fostering trust within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will treat a diverse client group, including individuals with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric patients, and athletes requiring sports rehabilitation. Your contributions will positively impact their recovery patterns, enabling them to regain their independence and engage in activities they enjoy.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, accredited by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating competence in patient assessment and therapeutic techniques.
• A current CPR certificate ensuring readiness for emergencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, aiding in documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is required, additional specialties in pediatric or sports medicine therapy would be an advantage. A strong desire to build relationships within the community, alongside experience in implementing evidence-based treatment protocols, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
