Work Environment

Your work will primarily take place onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, which spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge sports medicine technology. Collaborating with a supportive team, you will engage with patients in therapy sessions that promote healing and strength. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their specific needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a regular caseload, typically overseeing one patient per hour to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, to improve patients' range of motion and functional mobility.
• Implement cost-effective interventions aimed at decreasing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical treatment options.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities, including exercise protocols designed specifically for each patient.
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments to enhance recovery effectively.
• Foster a motivating and supportive environment that empowers patients to pursue their health goals and maintain an active lifestyle.
• Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions and treatment services provided, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise science.
• Excellent skills in designing effective rehabilitation protocols tailored to patient-specific goals.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software for efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred to ensure familiarity with patient needs and rehabilitation processes.
• Proven success in implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and improve their overall experience during therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
