Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' personal goals and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring individualized attention and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily interact with patients who are undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. This patient base typically consists of individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal issues, and your expertise will be vital in helping them regain autonomy and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid physical therapy license to practice in Virginia.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Previous experience of at least 2 years in a physical therapy role, ideally within an orthopedic outpatient or home care setting.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a keen interest in developing customized exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.
• A clean professional record with no prior disciplinary actions associated with your licensing.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's Degree is essential, preference will be given to candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and demonstrated competence in evidence-based therapeutic practices. Experience working in a home care setting or dealing with patients recovering from orthopedic procedures is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
