Locomotion Restore Physical Therapist Services is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team in Fairfax Station, Virginia. Locomotion Restore is a leading outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice, committed to enhancing the functional abilities and overall wellbeing of our patients. Our facility spans an impressive 5,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technologies. Our small, collaborative team, consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), is passionate about providing top-tier care, primarily to individuals with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, allowing you to immerse yourself in the patient experience within our advanced facility. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and respond to the individualized goals and needs of each patient, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Maintain a patient caseload of one individual per hour, allowing for focused and effective treatment sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at improving motion, mobility, and functionality.
• Advocate for non-surgical alternatives and promote cost-effective treatment options that minimize reliance on medications.
• Create and oversee fitness and wellness programs that are customized to meet each patient's unique requirements.
• Employ evidence-based interventions to deliver high-quality, personalized care to our patients.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their journey to recovery, helping them optimize their functional abilities.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient treatment and care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and provide clear, open communication with clients regarding their rehabilitation journey.
• Document all services rendered with precision to maintain a high standard of patient care and accurate medical records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic conditions that impact their movement and quality of life. Working primarily with individuals who possess private medical insurance, you will leverage your expertise to guide patients of various ages and activity levels toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no recorded instances of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques that foster effective patient engagements.
• Strong skills in developing and executing individualized exercise programs to meet varied patient needs.
• Proficient in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to facilitate efficient documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued. Familiarity with innovative treatment modalities, a track record of positive patient outcomes, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for patients will set ideal candidates apart. Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
