Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our Fairfax facility, which is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technology. You will work a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations, reviewing medical histories, and conducting physical tests to identify specific functional impairments.
• Develop customized treatment plans that address individual patient goals, utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced rehabilitation equipment.
• Treat 1-2 patients per hour in a focused and efficient manner, ensuring each session addresses patient concerns and progresses their rehabilitation effectively.
• Set clear, measurable goals for patient rehabilitation, facilitating regular assessments to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment protocols, and progress, adhering to all clinical standards and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case discussions to optimize patient outcomes and share insights on effective treatment methodologies.
• Provide patient education on wellness and injury prevention strategies to empower individuals in their recovery and promote long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic issues, including post-operative cases, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your expertise will be crucial in helping diverse patient populations regain mobility, strength, and functionality, thereby directly enhancing their overall quality of life. Each patient has unique needs; your ability to personalize care plans will be fundamental to their successful recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• An active Virginia Physical Therapist license in good standing, confirming your qualifications to practice in the state.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience with hands-on patient care, demonstrating your ability to create effective treatment strategies in real-world settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically in an orthopedic outpatient clinic is highly desirable, as it aligns closely with our patient demographic and treatment approaches.
• Familiarity with using therapeutic modalities and equipment in a clinical setting that enhances recovery outcomes.
• Experience in designing and implementing patient education programs and strategies that foster engagement and adherence to rehabilitation protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

Thrive Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
