You will be working onsite at our bright and spacious outpatient office in Centreville. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and fulfill the individual goals and needs of each patient through tailored evaluation techniques.
• Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused and effective treatment.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans using a variety of rehabilitation techniques that reduce reliance on medications and explore non-surgical options.
• Design and customize fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' requirements and lifestyle goals.
• Engage in patient education regarding their condition, treatment options, and wellness strategies that promote a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
• Document all care services and patient progress meticulously in our electronic medical record (EMR) system like WebPT to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.
• Motivate and empower patients during their treatment journey to optimize their performance and recovery.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust plans as necessary to promote maximum functional improvement.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong manual therapy skills complemented by a sound understanding of exercise prescription for rehabilitation.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, particularly with a focus on sports medicine or rehab.
• A solid track record of developing and implementing tailored therapeutic exercise programs.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding treatment progress and hurdles.

Compensation and Benefits
