We combine cutting-edge practices with a highly experienced team composed of two physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapy assistant. Work Environment

At Grandcare, you will work onsite in a collaborative rehabilitation facility that prioritizes both patient satisfaction and staff development. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our spacious treatment areas are designed to promote healing and recovery in a supportive environment, equipped with modern therapeutic tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the goals and needs of each patient, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect individual capabilities and aspirations.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, maximizing interaction and treatment efficacy.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies and explore non-surgical alternatives to enhance mobility and function.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques in the development of customized care plans, focusing on improvement in areas such as strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Document treatment outcomes and maintain comprehensive records of services provided for each patient.
• Evaluate treatment effects regularly, monitoring progress and openly communicating with patients and allied health professionals.
• Inspire and motivate patients through their therapeutic journeys, actively promoting health, wellness, and a sustainable active lifestyle.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care delivery for optimal patient outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in physical therapy practices and implement evidence-based interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• No previous board actions or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills with an emphasis on orthopedic treatment methodologies.
• Proficient in developing tailored exercise regimens that align with patient goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to efficiently manage patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly desirable. Candidates who demonstrate a track record of developing effective treatment strategies and establishing strong patient relationships will be preferred. Additionally, prior experience with evidence-based practices and a focus on holistic patient outcomes will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
