Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our outpatient office in Dulles, Virginia, where you will collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The office is designed to foster open communication and teamwork, critical for providing optimal care pathways for our patients. With regular working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, our schedule promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to understand their medical history and assess physical limitations, creating tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that are responsive to patients' evolving health conditions while demonstrating proficiency in physical therapy techniques.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to support continuity of care and to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress, treatment adaptations, and complex cases requiring multidisciplinary input.
• Follow up on discharge planning to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient recovery, including recommendations for further rehabilitation or care.
• Stay updated with the latest practices in physical therapy and maintain compliance with corporate training and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving access to care and enhancing patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses on treating a diverse patient population in an outpatient orthopedic context. Patients present a range of issues from post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain management, to general rehabilitation needs. You will be instrumental in not only enhancing the physical health of our clients but also providing support and education that empowers them on their health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of relevant outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Up-to-date CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a collaborative team environment and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems would be advantageous. We value clinical experience that includes innovative approaches to patient care, as well as the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
