Work Environment

This full-time position is designed for an onsite practice environment, where you will work Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. You will see patients in a modern clinic setting, equipped with the latest rehabilitation equipment, allowing you to perform evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans. Collaborating closely with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals, you will engage in a dynamic team-focused atmosphere dedicated to patient recovery and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their unique conditions and recovery goals.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions.
• Optimize patient outcomes by providing one-on-one therapy sessions, maintaining a manageable caseload of one patient per hour.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and develop effective exercise routines focused on improving motion and mobility.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and wellness practices that complement their rehabilitation programs.
• Regularly assess patient progress, adjust treatment strategies as necessary, and maintain detailed documentation of patient care.
• Work collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment of patients.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering an environment of support and healing.
• Explore non-surgical alternatives for treatment to minimize reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Lead and facilitate rehabilitation programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be treating patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries or surgeries, including sports injuries, post-operative recoveries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patients are typically well-informed and motivated to achieve their rehabilitation goals, making it essential for you to tailor engagement strategies that resonate with their specific needs and aspirations.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Centreville, Virginia, with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in developing customized exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT, ensuring efficient patient documentation and care tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of providing high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
