Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at our facility, where you will collaborate with a team of two licensed physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance while serving a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and effectively identify goals and needs.
• Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans that include various orthopedic therapies aimed at improving mobility and functionality.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and develop specific exercise routines tailored to each patient.
• Engage in cost-effective treatments that minimize the need for medications and explore non-surgical interventions.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, promoting adherence to prescribed exercise and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
• Document all treatment activities, monitor progress, and maintain clear communication with patients and their families.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust therapy strategies based on patient progress.
• Contribute to the development of wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance, seeking assistance with orthopedic conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia with no board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing individualized exercise plans.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly with WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, providing you with a strong foundation in treating a variety of conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
