Our 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources designed to foster recovery and healing. Our multidisciplinary approach includes two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, ensuring a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to each patient's specific needs.

Work Environment

Located in the heart of Fort Belvoir, our rehabilitation center operates in an onsite setting, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a vibrant and supportive atmosphere. The work schedule is set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a stable work-life balance. Our practice serves a diverse patient population, primarily comprising individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring you will work with motivated patients seeking to regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a designated patient load efficiently, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure quality care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring functional abilities.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques as a key component of your treatment strategy.
• Conduct and supervise tailored exercise regimens that foster movement and mitigate pain.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to enhance overall patient care and outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, interventions, and progress meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Regularly evaluate treatment efficacy and adjust care plans accordingly to maximize patient benefits.
• Provide education and motivation to patients on their treatment journey, promoting a commitment to long-term health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries. As a Physical Therapist within our practice, you will be integral in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation pathways, focusing on enhancing their movement, strength, and overall quality of life. You will engage directly with clients who are motivated to achieve their wellness goals, contributing to their progress and celebrating their successes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Fort Belvoir, VA, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proven competence in manual therapy techniques and the ability to tailor treatment modalities to individual client needs.
• Experience with EMR systems, especially proficiency in WebPT, to document patient care and progress.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate interaction with patients and collaboration with healthcare colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience within an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Background in developing and implementing comprehensive fitness and rehabilitation programs.
• Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
