Ascove Fitness and Rehab, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Manassas, Virginia. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in enhancing the mobility and quality of life of our patients. You will be responsible for developing personalized therapy plans, implementing treatment strategies, and supporting patients through their recovery journey.

Work Environment

The work setting is entirely onsite at our Manassas rehabilitation facility, a well-equipped space promoting patient engagement and innovative therapies. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing our staff to maintain a good work-life balance while dedicating themselves to patient care. The supportive atmosphere emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning among healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments and continual evaluation of the patient's condition and progress.
• Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation techniques to restore motion, alleviate pain, and enhance overall mobility.
• Incorporate a variety of evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities appropriate for each patient's recovery goals.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and techniques for managing pain and improving function, with a strong emphasis on non-surgical interventions.
• Monitor patients closely to adapt treatment plans as necessary, maximizing therapeutic outcomes based on their unique responses to various modalities.
• Utilize up-to-date electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, for accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care that includes updates on patient progress and treatment efficacy.
• Participate in ongoing medical education workshops and seminars to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in orthopedic therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves an outpatient population, focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse group of patients, each with distinct needs, from athletes to seniors, all aiming to restore their functional abilities and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Significant experience providing orthopedic outpatient care, demonstrating a successful track record of patient outcomes.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective progressive exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong understanding of current physical therapy practices and methodologies supported by recent research.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate patients and establish rapport quickly.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with WebPT and other EMR systems for effective patient documentation.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary team settings and collaboration with other healthcare practitioners.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
