Work Environment

Our Manassas outpatient office offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology. Working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, you will engage closely with a team of clinicians who are passionate about patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess individual needs based on medical history and functional assessments, laying the groundwork for personalized treatment plans.

• Implement and demonstrate proficiency in a variety of evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's condition, aiding them in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient care activities, including daily encounter notes, evaluations, progress summaries, and discharge plans that detail the patient's journey.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to adjust patient care plans as necessary, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.

• Engage in discharge planning, ensuring patients understand follow-up care and home exercises to support their recovery after leaving our facility.

• Participate in team meetings focused on continuous professional development and care strategy improvement, sharing insights and best practices with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients with orthopedic issues, from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. By providing compassionate care, you play a significant role in enhancing their functional abilities and overall quality of life. Your direct involvement helps in motivating patients and addressing their unique challenges throughout their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.

• A current physical therapy license in the State of Virginia, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

• Certification in CPR is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy will stand out. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous for efficient patient documentation and workflow management. Familiarity with current rehabilitation technologies and patient engagement strategies is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
