Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist at Premier Sports Fitness & Physiotherapy Services, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patient conditions, including comprehensive reviews of medical history and physical assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, ensuring their active involvement in goal-setting.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions based on the latest research and clinical guidelines, adapting your approach according to each patient's individual needs.
• Maintain consistent communication with other healthcare professionals when required, recognizing changes in patient conditions and adjusting plans of care accordingly.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Efficiently manage your patient schedule, striving to meet productivity expectations while providing exceptional care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working primarily with patients who have undergone orthopedic surgeries, minimally invasive procedures, or those suffering from common musculoskeletal injuries. You will closely assess and address issues such as joint pain, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation while ensuring each patient's individual care plan reflects their unique circumstances and personal health goals.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A valid state license or eligibility for licensure in Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience
