Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Premier Sports Fitness & Physiotherapy Services in Chantilly, Virginia. In this full-time, onsite position, you will play a critical role in evaluating and treating patients, working towards their recovery and rehabilitation in a supportive and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and determining appropriate treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Communicate evaluation findings clearly to patients and their families, engaging them in goal-setting and the treatment process.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's evaluation results and health conditions, with the flexibility to adapt as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care, addressing any changes in a patient's condition that may necessitate adjustments to their treatment plan.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manage your schedule effectively, ensuring productivity and timely completion of patient assessments and therapies.
• Engage in departmental initiatives aimed at improving access to care, utilizing site-specific CSI measurement data while actively participating in community outreach efforts.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy through continuous education and training, and serve as a clinical mentor for students and new hires.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. This includes athletes recovering from sports injuries, elderly patients needing rehabilitation after fractures or joint replacements, and individuals seeking to improve their physical function. You will be responsible for tailoring your approach to address the unique needs and circumstances of each patient, ensuring that every treatment plan promotes optimal recovery and lifestyle improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Current American Heart Association's BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience

While prior clinical experience is not required, familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation practices and techniques can be advantageous for success in this role. Compensation and Benefits
